cam26 Posted October 28, 2011 Share Posted October 28, 2011 Hi all My friend was looking for a Pc and after buying a few that wasn't working I decided to sell her mine she agreed and payed me £50 and said il pay rest next week I just recieved a txt of her telling me she don't want it now so what I asking is do we have a verbal contract between us and do I have to give her the money back or can I just say look you paid half it yours if you don't want it then I don't have to give you owt back and she has done this a few times to me in past thanks all Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If she is your friend why are you asking about a verbal contract, if you want it back then take it back, if you want to be pedantic you could keep the cash saying it was a non refundable deposit as she said she wanted to buy it.
