Suffragette1
Set a thief to catch a thief? It is time that this hideous corrupt and deeply hypocritical and misogynistic harbourer of paedophiles reconsider its celibacy rules, which few seem to adhere anyhow. It is an unnatural state and this needs to be addressed, as suppressing one's sexual urges can lead to all kinds of unacceptable behaviour, whether that is men preying on young boys or nuns physically abusing children. I also suspect that some men are drawn to the Church as they hope that its rigid celibacy rules will force them to suppress and control their peadophile urges. I also suspect that some men are drawn to the Church as they hope that its rigid celibacy rules will force them to suppress and control their peadophile urges. They still seem to be above the law. The amount of abuse committed by this organisations' employees and then the cover-up that went right to the very top and still it is allowed to investigate itself. Any private company condoning a hundredth of this level of abuse would now be bankrupt and it's CEO in prison. Imposing rules on people that go against natural instincts is always going to cause problems for people and religion really wants to tell its followers what kind of sex they can have and with whom but the celibacy rule is ridiculous. I agree that a lot of people fighting their inner demons will be attracted to the church and I am guessing once a member, they soon became aware of the 'perks' on offer. Bloomdido
Hey, I take it all back, the Pope himself has ordered an investigation into abuse in a West London school. It's just a coincidence that "The Times" reported it last year. The NSS argues in the article that all investigations should be carried out independently. More systematic abuse by catholic clergy spanning 40 years and the former Abbot has "done a runner".
