julesmarie
I passed my test this way, had some lessons, then stopped, but did a two hour friday, saturday, sunday, one hour on the monday, took my test and passed, I found it alot easier, as you got more confidence, and took more in, as you would do with just an hour or half an hour, every other week. DT Ralge
My other half failed twice after having lessons for six months. Took a one week (five days) intensive and passed on the fith day. Dunno what the stats. are on this? 6 months at, say, 1 hour per week = 24 hours+. Plus one week intensive (20 or 40 hours?) So, in total 44 or 64 hours to pass. DSA suggest 40-45 hours of tuition plus private practice wherever possible. At the time of the first tests, we can conclude, OH was trying to do it in a rush and was under-prepared and was likely to fall short of the standard. After more hours of tuition, spread over a long or short time, OH was much better prepared.
