RABBIDDOG
It scares me with some of the daft shops which sell them at this time of year, obviously just for a quick buck, so who would they sell them too I wonder..... KIDS They even stopped selling flour and eggs the other day at my local shop!
sccsux
Banning them wouldn't have such a bad outcome. Only if you're a killjoy and don't like children having the same fun that they did when young.

Rupert_Baehr
Quite right too! IF you're under 21, you should learn how to make your own - As we did when I was a kid. Though there's probably a law against harvesting the bat droppings to mix with the brimstone and charcoal.
HeadingNorth
I'd settle for fireworks being on general sale that make pretty lights, and the ones with the explosive power of a pound of TNT banned.
some guy
I don't think they should be banned from use by the general public. Banning things is the wrong way to go. Just because a small minority choose to lark about with them and ruin it for the majority, it shouldn't be the rest of us who have to suffer for it. It's like driving. There are some bad and dangerous drivers out there, but does that mean banning us all from driving? I think more should be done to promote their safety though. All we ever get is the annual "no nonsense" talks in schools and the odd safety adverts.
Greengeek
Should ban the bell-end up at Gleadless throwing them out of his van. Didn't catch the signage though
bullerboY
Ban them altogether, does nobody care for all the animals in the fields,Horses .cows sheep and the wildlife and think of the trauma and stress this causes. Why do we celebrate bonfire night, it was a failure the minute they gave Guy Fawkes the job.
