OLD No.12 Posted November 5, 2011 Share Posted November 5, 2011 i was told, that in the 1930s when housing estates around sheffield started to appear (hackenthorpe,manor,firth park,parson cross)and may be others. the land that was cleared for some of these estates had been used for old landfill tips from the past. could this be true or not.
