He was going home from work, and had no alternative, as his workplace was within the police cordon. Secondly there was no 'riot' going on where Mr Tomlinson was killed. He was well canned up though. And as we all know the Police loathe and detest any one who takes a drink. Except themselves that is. As a workforce they are the most drunken aldulterous louts I have ever parleyed with. There was unrest in the general area, and he was deliberately challenging the Police's authority by not moving when told to and walking deliberately slowly in front of them, blocking their path, to hold them up - he was obstructing the Police, and deserved a good shove.
