Zimily
Try The Nelson Bar at the top of The Moor opposite McDonalds or The Sportsman which is opposite John Lewis just a bit further down from Weatherspoons. They play both old rock and newer rock!!
CherylB
Try the Ivory on Regent Terrace, just off West Street. It's only just opened and has a great atmosphere. There's superb food, a wide range of drinks include a cocktail collection and live music. Check out the web site http://www.the-ivory.co.uk It's well worth a visit. lucasdigital
I'll second the Ivory - Its what lounge bars should be about - relaxation, style and good service. If the drinks the thing - The Devonshire Cat is hard to beat. You've just got to try some of those specialist beers - your remaining brain cells owe your taste buds this at least! mebs
I agree that the Ivory is well worth a pint, its a good addition to the city and the food is tops, the do proper home made chips which isn`t much but no one else seems to care about the small things like that!!
