Its about the Derbyshire Dales and the Great War. It's a story of love, loss, patriotism and great bravery told with songs, reminiscences and the journalism of the time. Featuring the poems of Siegfried Sassoon, Wilfred Owen as well as the experiences of Horace Johnson, Vera Brittain and other local people. Takes place at the stunning Thornbridge Hall near Bakewell. Tickets are £10 at the door, but ring the box office on 07920 755435 to reserve seats.
