Agent Orange
i had to make do with watching it on tv this year, difficut for the child to remain silent and not fair to others there to have her bothering them would have loved to have been there with you all Not to worry. It was packed this year and was well attended by children also. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many infants so well behaved, especially through the two minutes silence. Shame some adults couldn't behave the same. It was quite humbling, really.

GoGo_dancer
Irish Cream 250ml Irish whisky (or 150ml irish whisky/100ml brandy) 250ml thick/whipping cream 1 can sweet condensed milk (not evaporated) 2 tsp chocolate syrup 2 tsp instant coffee (mix granules with a bit of the booze first) 1 tsp vanilla plus anything else you like, hazelnut/mint extract etc Put everything in a bowl and mix gently* until smooth Bottle and stick it in the fridge (lasts about 3 weeks) *I over-blended mine and my whipping cream became too thick so it separated slightly and I had to thin it out with milk, but it still tastes fab after a good shake! I'm going to try and make it with normal double cream next time. It's a very flexible recipe so you can alter the taste, alcohol strength, flavouring to your exact requirements. wornout53
That sounds wonderful, did the merigues work out? I bet they were dead pleased They were really excited because they were microwave meringues which they have decided are 'kitchen magic' It is easy enough for them to do themselves under supervision but the results are impressive. wornout53
I went to the cenotaph. I didn't go to the cenotaph but I did watch the Royal British Legion festival of remembrance and the service from Whitehall with my grandchildren and explained it all to them and answered their questions.
