I think that there were high hopes as there is so little mainstream drama about lesbians.

 

They should be celebrating the fact that there is/was a mainstream drama that actually featured lesbians as the main characters unlike the supporting comedy characters gay men are always shown as, rather than complaining they wern't lesbian enough.

It's very difficult to strike a balance between fully rounded characters and non-stereotypes.

 

i agree.

 

I think we have moved away from porn though now.

 

I always find it odd that straight men like watching two (real or pretend) lesbians but straight women (as far as I know) arn't interested in watching two guys.
