I never vote in polls on SF on principal - they're rubbish.

Porn is pretty poor on the whole - it's a pale shadow (with a tacky edge) of reality and all about 'technique' without emotion.

Of course it's not a patch on reality, but it's not supposed to be. It's mostly a caricature of sex and I agree that a lot of it is awful (a lot of heterosexual porn, which I tend to avoid, can be pretty demeaning & really should be put in the male domination category) but there is amateur porn that isn't about performing for the cameras or partaking in humiliating acts.

 

Personal thoughts and fantasies, porn, a partner - there's nothing wrong with using every crayon in the box, and there's also nothing wrong with not wanting to.

I would have no problems with my partner watching porn or indeed me watching it with him. I don't get the hang up about it at all. But I am an openminded person.

 

I think it can improve your sex life as you can learn new things.

 

Each to their own I say. Its personal choice at the end of the day.
