Kit!
Can anyone shed light on a problem we had yesterday? We discovered we'd had a 'smash & grab' infestation of mice in our cellar:gag:. We store dry goods in sealed containers, wood & coal down there. We use our cellar on a regular day-to-day basis & never noticed anything. Then yesterday we dicovered fresh 'stuff' from mice & they'd helped themselves to unopened packets of spices, lots of it:mad:.& it had only happened over 1 or at most 2 nights. We spent hours clearing & cleaning up the mess they'd left in their wake & put down poisoned bait. The next morning....nothing...all bait accounted for:confused:no dropping no wee....... Has anyone else had this kind of ram-raid happen? Do mice do smash & grab? Did the paprika not agree with them? Or was our cellar not good enough for them? Any answer or advice would be good thank you.

Crosser
I can't answer your question, however it is unwise to poison vermin because they don't die immediately, then they tend to die in the most difficult to reach places (under floorboards etc) and the smell of a decaying mouse lasts for weeks if not months! either traps or a good cat is a better option IMHO. Rich
30 years ago we had a Mouse infestation back when we lived at Walkley, we had to get Rentokil in in the end to get rid of them, wasn't cheap, even by early 80s standards.
