Kalcrest Sheffield Steeldogs invite everyone to come down to their Charity Game this Saturday, when they are supporting the local Sheffield hospital through The Children's Hospital Charity and during which there will be a Teddy Bear Toss on the first home goal.

Steeldogs, who are sitting proydly in second place in the Premier League, face off against another top team, Milton Keynes Lightning, at 7.30pm and this clash promises to be another fast and physical game.

Steeldogs have already beaten MK Lightning at home earlier in the season, a result MK did not expect so they will be gunning for the two points on Saturday.

Coach Andre Payette is appealing to all Sheffield's ice hockey fans to spread the word about this game and bring in as many newcomers as they can to watch this great Steeldogs' team.

He is expecting it to be a hard fought game so there is likely to be plenty of the usual exciting but tense action, as the fans have come to expect from this team.

Andre is hoping we can bring in a big crowd to help support our excellent Children's Hospital – most families have benefited at some time or other from their care and facilities and this is our opportunity to give some help back. There will also be a Bucket Collection on the night.

Please bring a (new) teddy to toss onto the ice after the first home goal. These will be collected and distributed to sick children before Christmas.

Please come and join us at iceSheffield on Saturday, to cheer on a fantastic 'Made in Sheffield' team playing the fastest team sport and help a great Charity in the process.

Tickets available on the door from 5.30pm onwards.
