Frankly, if you imagine that all the unemployed aren't working because johnny foreigner nicked all the jobs, you're off your rocker.Nobody would say 'all', but a few months ago in Question Time figures were discussed that showed the majority of new jobs in the UK over the previous year went to immigrants. Isn't this mainly because immigrants will work for below the minimum wage, get paid cash in hand and not pay tax? Perhaps a crackdown on immigrants working illegally is called for. When cleaning jobs are advertised, there's a remarkably quiet response in terms of applicants from the job centre - honest paid work, but little interest when there should be hundreds of applications from all those out of work people who claim to be actively seeking work. Surly if our young people had been motivated and educated to the standards business requires we would have less unemployment and fewer people in the country. 7 a minute for over ten years. Labour let hordes of immigrants in, but you can't blame any of the political parties for the willingness of people from other countries to work for low wages. At the very least they've all got to be part of the solution. IMO we're in within months of a national emergency due to the utter failure of coalition policies and what went before. The upper class went abroad in the days of the British Empire (that was empire created by working class soldiers and sailors) and exploited foriegners now they bring the foreigners her to exploit them. As in the days of the glorious British Empire only a small percentage of the population will benefit, the price of the goods/produce created by this slave labour will not come down.
