My boss was a Mrs Lindley, a lovley lady and a real character, I remember Mr Webb and also his son David. It was a great place to work, very friendly. derfblade Posted November 23, 2011 Author Share Posted November 23, 2011 a once told a guy that the carpet he wanted was £3 a square yard plus tax [as vat had just been introduced], and he said," i wont bother with the tax i'll just stick it down". i still dont know if he was winding me up!
