How is dental healthcare and different from normal health care?

Recommended Posts

Not sure, was it always excluded?

I'm not certain if it has always been excluded, but I don't think so. I think it's a relatively new thing. I seem to remember there was at one time an 'issue' with dentists claiming from the NHS for treatment that was never done, or treatment for ficticious patients, and I think the new (paying) system came about as a result of that. I may of course be wrong.

Daven: Yes the system of social care is also VERY unfair. I agree. Neither system is fair. I just don't 'get' why it has to be that way. Personally, I would be prepared to pay a little more on my national insurance each week / month and make ALL healthcare free.
