Rupert_Baehr
The other song I used to like and even now sing it, is one by a band called Steelye Span the song was ' All Around My Hat ( I will wear the green ribbon ) you never hear this one now and that too was a good song with a very catchy beat. They also produced a few recordings of ' ' and that's certainly a Christmas song.
treeko1
Interesting! Philip spectors album mentioned earlier was" quite good "in fact it's considered a classic. Its full title is "A Christmas gift for you".It contains the very famous version of Frosty the Snowman and many others by crystals, darlene love etc. it wasn't a great success on first release but then that happened to be on November 25th 1963.Three days after the assassination of JFK(coincidentally today's date). The biggest selling recording that CHristmas was the recording of the Funeral. Not good timing.
