naps
theres no doubt in my mind!!! 1. nether edge kebab house (by pops) the chicken tikka, in naan, with salad, mayonnaise and chilli sauce. nothing else touches em, and ive had five years of sheffield kebab sampling! 2. Alifs (ecclesall road) classic donner in naan, salad, mint sauce, chilli its the bread they use, and the nice little side portion of salad so you can construct it yourself...very tasty...but not king 3. kebabish (london road) special mention, pretty fine establishment, the place next door is good too but only when they have their special cream-coloured chicken donner..not to be missed donnerlicious is good too, clean and cheap! and chilli chicken have got new owners, so might improve a bit!! anyway, thats what i reckon...if you can point me towards a finer place than the NE KH im there on the weekend;) Very enthusiastic, I bet your a fatty! johnbradley
i, john bradley, am 'powerfully built' as part of a mantra it helps me sleep anyways, cycling everywhere and drumming my arse off 8 hours a week keep the chub at bay! and im down to 15 kebabs a week now anyway
defstef
shahi kebab ranch at the bottom of london road - best shish kebabs i've had in shef (mind you, aren't you normally drunk when you have a kebab, so everything tastes great anyway?!) I'd have to disagree with the being drunk part...so would Bradders if pressed: I have kebabs when sober, for my tea. Let me tell you now, I once dabbled in pescatarianism for about 6 weeks, but the temptation of an Elif donner bought me back. I usually don't want food when I'm drunk. Just more crunkjuice/party enhancers.
johnbradley
yeah man, i enjoy kebabs drunk or not, although a fair proportion have been chomped after a few bevvies!

bjshooter
Had a kebab last night from the shop across the road from empire bar, and have to say it was horrid i wouldn't bother going there again. The beat Kebab shop is at the bottom of london road, but i wouldn't eat in any if i wasn't drunk.

(not, as I understand it, affiliated with the superior one on the wicker) [edit: wonky grammar] - It's narsty IMO. Tastes like it was some kind of feral quadrapedal turd. Worst kebab ever has to be the place opposite the Broadfield though. I think it's got a really imaginative name, like "Pizza and Kebab house". I wouldn't eat there if you paid me. Anything less than a fiver. So I could go to to Elif's. Bonza. [edit] p.s. I'm up for an excursion wickerside John me ol'. Tuesday?
Dear_Ladies
Pizza and Kebab House does a surprisingly good biryani, oddly enough.
