ricgem2002
That post shows why the pro drug argument is total crap. They always need to try to divert the argument by trying to mix prescribed drugs with illegal, "Recreational" drugs. They'll wheel out the medicinal weed one next in a daft attempt to blur the borders. and people will also come out with a sentence like you have to try and steer away from it:hihi:.how many drug companies try and sell their wares to doctors knowing people will become addicted to their drugs (diazepam/temazepam/etc )knowing this will be paid for by the nhs (erm drug dealers)

upinwath
You need to get up to speed with Taleban money sources. The Taleban make about $70m from drug money annually, which is predominantly sourced from the opium growing regions. Afghanistan earns about $4b annually from illicit drugs in various ways. So the Taleban are reaping about 0.175% of the annual Afghan drug income. Where is the other 99.825% of it going? The other $3.93 billion? You guessed it - the other side, aka the good guys. Do your patriotic duty and get some sticky Afghani in, support our boys! The Taliban publish reports on their drug production? That or your quoting a guess. Rich
Britons who take cocaine are destroying Colombia. http://www.metro.co.uk/news/882330-juan-manuel-santos-britons-who-take-cocaine-are-destroying-colombia Juan Manuel Santos, Colombian president wants world leaders to take a fresh approach to the drugs war and will even consider legalising cannabis and cocaine. When will people see that this is the only option that will actually work?!? Won't happen, for various reasons.

QED So you think we should punish drug users and hang the dealers? It that your genius answer to the war on drugs? Can't you see that your ideas have been put into practice already and they don't work?! If you are so anti drugs, why don't you use your head for once and think, maybe legalisation is a different option, one that will have some benefits? People are never going to stop using drugs, you can kick and scream all you want. There will be demand for drugs until the end of time so get over it, nothing you or anyone can do about it! Even if it will save billions of pounds and lots of lives? One day we will look back and laugh at the fact that drugs were illegal.
