Manic lass
Before I splash out, just wanting some opinions. I have very fine hair but it never looks sleek these days and I want to get some GHDs. I have heard they are great and don't damage hair as much as cheaper straighteners but with my hair being so baby fine I am worried about damage, and also is the cost them worth it? I so want my hair to look sleek and in place.
Lady Star
Anything that heats hair, especially directly as hair straightners do, will split hair and eventually ruin it - unless you have lots of hair, I wouldnt bother... Nothing worse than seeing poker straight hair, with all the little split baby hairs decorating it...

GreenBlade
yes it will over a long period of time, you can buy products that you can spray on that 'protect' it but again it's not 100%. Get some good quality ones like GHD
