big_g
Hi all I have a Citroen Picasso and there is a problem with the clutch. Apparently, on a RHD model, the clutch pedal is connected to a rod that goes to the master cylinder by a bit of plastic - this has snapped. I need to replace this or get it replaced. I reckon that this must be a common problem as I seem to remember a friend of mine having a similar issue a few years back. The problem shows itself as the pedal staying on the floor of the car and the clutch not operating. Anyone else had a similar issue and did they manage to fix it themselves or, if they took it to the garage, how much did it cost? Car is a Citroen Picasso Diesel (2004) with hydraulic clutch. Magneteer
Yes, strangely I had this same problem with my picasso. It only happened very occasionally and would eventually rectify itself. Never got to the bottom of it and the garage couldn't fathom it either. So now I know what it was.
