So why were they so irresponsible as to shut the schools when Princess Diana's lad got married? They will be doing the same when we celebrate being subjects of Elizabeth Windsor for 60 years. Hundreds of Millions of pounds lost, and hundreds of jobs gone, for two days of meaningless revelry. At least there is some point in the strike. Due to being forced to use the pound and being at the mercy of the manipulation of the pound, the slaves (us) can be controlled. Structural unemployment can be forced to exist. As far as i'm aware there are no restrictions on issuing your own currency, there's just no obligation in law for anyone else to accept it. taxman Posted November 24, 2011 Share Posted November 24, 2011 Most of the time the public sector is pilloried by the Tories as wasteful and unproductive....yet they seem to be saying that these workers stopping work for a single day will cost the UK £500million.
