SHU Events Posted November 25, 2011 Share Posted November 25, 2011 Tuesday 13 December 2011 Pennine Theatre, Sheffield Hallam University, City Campus 7:15 for 7:30pm Brian Turner, who has appeared as a cook on BBC2's Ready Steady Cook since 1994, will be at the University for a fun-filled evening of conversation about his life and career. One of Britain's most successful and well-known chefs, Brian was a judge on Master Chef and the long-time resident chef on This Morning, before eventually moving to the BBC for his own series Anything you can Cook. Most recently Brian, who is from Halifax, West Yorkshire, has teamed up with Butlins' holiday parks to create a brand new dining experience for families at its resort in Bognor Regis. Turner’s, opened April 2011, showcases classic British cooking with a generous sprinkling of Butlins'-style fun twists. Join us for an evening of conversation with mulled wine and mince pies.
