RDFTV Posted November 25, 2011 Share Posted November 25, 2011 A TV APPEAL FOR CRIME FOOTAGE YOU FILM IT, WE SHOW IT --------- RDF Television is producing a new Channel 4 series about crime and anti-social behaviour in the UK, called “Mugshots”, and we need YOUR help. Cars being keyed, bikes being nicked, graffiti covering the local shops and fly-tipping on your streets – just a few examples of the anti-social and criminal behaviour hundreds of Brits face every day. But the good news is that ordinary people are now able to exploit new technology to capture such crimes on camera. If you’re one of them, we want to hear from you. Whether it’s from the camera on your smart phone or CCTV you’ve had installed, we want your home-captured footage of criminals in action. Recorded someone vandalising the local school? Been burgled and filmed it? Videoed a gang terrorising you and the neighbours? With your footage, we may be able to highlight an important area of crime and in certain cases actually name and shame the criminals. We also want you to tell us your crime fighting stories - have you thwarted a burglar? Has your amateur footage of a rogue at work led to a prosecution? If this has happened to you, or to someone you know, we want to hear about it and possibly do an interview.
