Hid kit problems

Recommended Posts

Mine doesn't have self levelling OR wash wipe and it alwas passes the MOT.

New rules this year... "For vehicles with High Intensity Discharge (HID) lamps, a failure will be issued if the HID system doesn't include headlamp cleaning and levelling systems, or if they don't work properly."

You need to find the link to the actual MOT site, they're not as clear cut as they make out on your link. For example, the one about removing a cat is not necessarily true, if you have a pre-cat test like me then you don't check the cat, yet it does also state if the car had a cat then it needs to be present....so which comes first?
