Ghozer
And thats where I will be all saturday If I go to sportsman, it's on a sunday, the Curry is YUM!! I avoid Casbah now, for many personal reasons, and it's really gone down hill since around 2008... West Street Live is great too!
Bargepole23
I remember the bouncy dance floor at the City Hall, made a change from a sticky one! I used to love Drop when it was down there on a Friday Yorkshireman, Hallamshire and Mailcoach all on our route before Drop - happy days

Grappler
The Casbah around 2003/5 was on par with the origanal Limit.Friday n Saturday nights were awesome. There was a special unique vibe goin on.If you can track down the cats who ran it then trust me you will be turning the heating off plus you will be rammed .. Sorry mate, as good as the Casbah was (and I loved it), nothing comes close to the original Limit in it's late 70's to early/mid 80's hay day
Grappler
Really?Think you'll find quite a few of us old Limit goer 40 somethings in town quite regular if you look in the right places like Casbah Nelson Sportsman West ST Live Bessemer etc!Thats without the "popsters" who like Babylon Reflex etc lol I am closer to 50 than 40 but still go into town, watch local acts play live, at places like Delaneys Bar and The Washington. bluesbrother
So sad to hear about Trinny, i'd been told he was ill. I remember him as a top bloke from when i DJ'd at the original Limit back in the 80's.
