Not quite sure what you mean, but P&O Ferries usually provide a coach from the ferry terminal to the town in with the price. We've often done the trip from Hull to Brugges, via P&O, and their 1/2 price deal is exceptionally good value.

I'm sure there'll be a National Express coach from Sheffield to Hull.

its at the belgium end we want transport but if p&o do it thats fine, by the way been looking on line for transport to hull national exprees do a coach from meadowhall to hull city centre but it takes 3 hour 45 min then you have to get another bus to the dock rail is quicker but they want 38 quid for the return fare all in all it may be easier to look for a company like wombwell coaches who do it for 65 quid and pick you up at home

To get to the dock at Hull:

Train to Hull from Sheffield is easiest. Split the ticket at Doncaster (ask for Sheffield to Doncaster and a Doncaster to Hull return tickets (pref. off-peak returns). About £25 for an off peak return.

Then from Hull interchange take the ferry bus to the dock. It is timed to run to the dock to meet the ferry (leaves the bus station at around 5pm - there's an information office in the train station that can tell you the exact time. The fare is about £2.50 each way (no return tickets as I recall). There are other regular buses that will cost you slightly less which run all day (regular services) but they drop you about 15 minutes walk from the dock (across dual carriageways). The ferry bus is much easier.

The P&O service provides a free bus service from Ostend to Bruges (it drops you at the Bruges train station, from where you can catch a ten-minute train to Adinkerke, or other services as far as Antwerp and Brussels. Bruges train station is about ten minutes walk from Bruges town centre. The free P&O bus back to the ferry also departs from Bruges train station and, again, is timed to run for the ferry.

Hope this helps

Andy

PS If you book the tickets with P&O direct the coach transfers from Ostend to Bruges and back are definitely included in the price. Booking through their website is pretty easy.

That must have changed since March then. When we went we had to pay extra for the coach into Bruges. Only £10 or so return, but it was definitely an extra option on the booking.
