me-and-pippo
Clayton Terrace was somewhere in the area of Woodside Lane, sorry I can not be more precise as it does not appear to be named in any directories, or on any maps I have looked at. hillsbro
Clayton Terrace also doesn't seem to feature in any of the directories I have, but in the 1901 census, the 15 properties in Clayton Terrace follow those in Brandon Street and Pinfold Lane, and so it may well have been in this area of Pitsmoor. Texas
The Woodside Lane connection gets me. I delivered papers around there many years ago, and on a good day I can dredge up the names of the streets and places, terraces etc. The only thoroughfare I cant put a name to was the one opposite Fox's shop. It could've been designated the name 'place'. The only other thing it could've been was a Court, but it was unlike all the other Courts in the area.
