I am trying to arrange a well deserved night out with my Mrs but dont really fancy a bar crawl around Sheffield/Rotherham. I wanted something like a Motown or 80's night with a meal and some wine or even a Meal with a Karaoke or a disco after etc. We are in our mid 30's so a Vera Lynn lunch isnt what we are looking for.... keeley234 Posted December 1, 2011 Share Posted December 1, 2011 Hi. The Golden Lion Pub just off Bramhall Lane and London Road is a lovely local traditional pub. We have got an 80's night this Sat from 8.30pm. We do not serve food but there are plenty of good restaurants within 5 mins walking distance on London Road or a short Taxi fare into town. We are also doing karaoke on Sat 10th and 17th of Dec and we had a Northern Soul and Motown night last week. I hope you have managed to get some idea's from us all.
