Leap Year Daylight Robbery

Recommended Posts

You're missing the point that instead of working a day for no pay, you are just catching up on the three previous years when you have been paid for an extra quarter day when you didn't earn it.

It doesnt work that way though, does it?

I dont seem to remember being given 2 hours off work, over the course of a year.

Hang on though, perhaps I do.:hihi:

Well aren't you lucky to be paid £130 a day? With that income surely you can afford not to get by on the same earnings as other years without a £130 bonus?

That is not good money for an engineer, responsible for the Estates department of a large hospital.

We are paid a pittance compared to the private sector.

I also have to pay £160 a year to park my car in an open air carpark.

With no guarantee of a spot, if I get there after about 8 oclock.

The entire set up is a disgrace tbh.

I started this lightheartedly, but the more I think about the situation, the worse it seems.
