Bollie
Think you need to check out the small print on your contract. If you sign up to pay, say £20 for 18 months.... you would expect to pay £20 for 18 months!! Ah, they merged me. Didn't see this other thread. bigsexydoug
its in a very grey area, although its in orange t&c's its actually against ofcom rules, check out the moneysaving expert link someone posted earlier, its explained a lot better on there
PeteMorris
Is it possible to complain to ofcom on line? or do you have to ring them. I know I'm wasting my time phoning Orange, cos they'll just quote paragraph whatever it is in their T&C's. As another poster expressed it's not the £1.50 or whatever, it's the principle. Does inflation mean that it's costing Orange more to connect my call to another mobly? I don't bleedin' think so!

I don't bleedin' think so! you need to contact orange first, as ofcom wont take on cases if you havent contacted the supplier, someone has done a great template on there, about page 24 or 25, just email em that

Andy
Does inflation mean that it's costing Orange more to connect my call to another mobly? I don't bleedin' think so! No, but it does impact on the costs of running their business, for example rent for premises, wages, electricity, hardware etc. I'm not defending them, but it's not just individuals who are suffering from inflation. Of course, when firms rise their prices in line with inflation, that leads to more inflation. I only pay £10 per month so I think my new bill will be about £10.40. Remember, if you're not in contract you can ring them up and either cancel or ask for a better deal.

swordfish1
I'm going to use the letter in post 472 on here:- http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=3639779&highlight=orange&page=24 See if it gets me anywhere. Incidentally it says on there that they made £300million last quarter. I can see why they have to put prices up:rolleyes:
