TrashyBook
The Conwy mussels from Barnsley market were absolutely delicious. We cooked them with leek, celery and white wine, then stirred in some cream at the end. Heaven on a plate! Thumbs up from all 6 of us for the flavour of them - definitely worth seeking out

TheGuy
Can these natural larger mussels still be bought anywhere, rather than the small cultivated Scottish mussels generally on offer? Costco sell various types of mussels; Conway mussels sounds very familiar, I think I've seen them there but I'm not 100% sure.

carosio
That's the place, he said it was open 8am to noon earlier in this thread. It would have been around 3.50pm when I passed, didn't have a minute spare as we had to be in Stafford for 4.30.
Nagel
Does anywhere in Sheffield still sell Conwy Mussels now? They're so much better than those tiny tasteless rope grown Scottish ones.
