Not sure about "conveniently fail", i didn't see a march. I am not disputing someone somewhere was marching, and good luck to them if they were. Did you conveniently fail to see strikers shopping? Makes sense for them to use the day off productively - they'd just been paid, and it was a good day to do it. It almost sounds like the whole thing was planned.
