CXC3000
You have provided no evidence to support that claim; and Aqbus directly contradicts it by saying that the New Testament is the Word of God and the Qu'ran is a load of rubbish. Why is your claim superior to his? The claim of Islam - and not to mention that the Quran hasn't been changed for nearly 1,500 years. Unlike the Bible. ** Are you referring to a Biblical verse, please- which one, in particular? Nope; I was referring to the Quranic one: Chapter 7, Verse 126. In fact, if you wish, you can read a translation of the entire (Chapter) here, as well as the Quran itself : http://www.harunyahya.com/Quran_translation/Quran_translation7.php
f0rd
If that's true then there cannot be any jews at all, unless God is a jewish woman, because according to the mythology she/he created the first people. And if that were true then everyone is a Jew, because we are all descended from eve. Jew, in biblical usage, before the exile would be anyone from the tribe of Judah, which started with one of the sons of Jacob and Jacob was the first Israelite. flamingjimmy
You seem to forget: the Quran is the Word of God; what you read is what God Has Stated. That is not true though, but lets pretend that it is, just for fun. He (via the Quran) tells us of past events as well as future one. And the word from the Book is 'Muslaymeen'; that's how it's pronounced in the Verse I gave. So the term 'Muslim' was used thousands of years ago But the verse in the Quran was in Arabic, Moses did not speak arabic, he would have spoken a different word, he would have spoken none of the words attributed to him in the Quran. Arabic as a language did not exist until the first millenia BC, long after Moses was alleged to have been around. God must have just translated him for the arabs. It's rather like taking a King James bible and using it to argue that Jesus spoke English.
HeadingNorth
The claim of Islam If you're trying to argue that the Qu'ran is the truth because the Qu'ran says so and it is the truth, that's circular reasoning and invalid. If you are merely clarifying that the claim comes from Islam and not from you, that's irrelevant; you're the one on this board claiming that Islam is the true faith. f0rd
'Anah' means 'please'. It derives from a verb meaning 'to ask'. So? Actually it means to humble oneself, and depending on the context would be where you get it's usage to submit. Just like for example (watch the swearing filter get this) bere**** means beginning, however it can also mean chief, or first crop of the land depending on context. Jeffrey Shaw
The claim of Islam- and not to mention that the Quran hasn't been changed for nearly 1,500 years. Unlike the Bible. Sorry but wrong. If by 'The Bible' you mean the TaNaCh, that has never changed. The Torah part dates back to 2488 [= 3284 years ago, or 1273BCE]. The 'New Testament' is not part of this. Balpin
The claim of Islam - and not to mention that the Quran hasn't been changed for nearly 1,500 years. Unlike the Bible. ] It is time it was updated then. God has given us many more revelations since then, look at our achievments since the Dark Ages. To base your life on the words of a man from 1500 years ago is silly in the extreme.

It's rather like taking a King James bible and using it to argue that Jesus spoke English. I'm sorry but I'm quite happy to accept what God has Stated (in His final revelation) If you're trying to argue that the Qu'ran is the truth because the Qu'ran says so and it is the truth, that's circular reasoning and invalid. If you are merely clarifying that the claim comes from Islam and not from you, that's irrelevant; you're the one on this board claiming that Islam is the true faith. And it is the true Faith. It supersedes all others. Originally, previous scripture was pure but over time it had become 'contaminated' by the hands of men. Sorry but wrong. If by 'The Bible' you mean the TaNaCh, that has never changed. The Torah part dates back to 2488 [= 3284 years ago, or 1273BCE]. The 'New Testament' is not part of this. Unfortunately the Torah (and any other scripture before the Quran), has also been corrupted.
