Jesus was Jewish, so God must be Jewish

Recommended Posts

I am not an athiest.

I believe in god, the creator.

I do not believe in adoring it, via religion.

I do however believe that when a human dies, we become part of it.

Whatever it is.

Human intelligence is not something that is snuffed out at the death of the body.

That is a religious belief, whether you like the label or not, and is just as silly as anything in any major religion.

All the evidence in the world would point to the conclusion that human intelligence is completely snuffed out at the death of the body.

Human intelligence trancends anything.

We are gradually becoming as one with god.

We are at the point of breaking the limits of physical law.

It is religion that is holding us back from making this leap.

This begs the question, as someone asked earlier.

Is it god, or the devil, who makes our religions?

Also, if that is the case, why does a person come back, when the body has, to all intents and purposes. died?

All signs of death are evident.

The body is kept alive by artificial means.

Yet recovery comes about.

Because they weren't really dead, they were just very close.

In any case, do you really feel like 'because of magic' is a good answer? Because that seems to effectively be what you're saying.

All completely baseless nonsense, I'm afraid. You've been watching too much Star Trek.

No, Jimmy, you have no soul.

Believe in mankind.

We have a future that is greater than grovelling on this Earth.

You are only confined by the limits of your imagination.

Absolutely right, and neither do you, nor anyone else. Souls do not exist.

Believe in mankind.

It really does seem like the kind of speech some stupid alien would give in Star Trek.

I’ve always found that to be a bit of a paradox, they believe things that exist must have a creator so believe in God whilst at the same time believing that things can exist without a creator.

That's science and the Big Bang.

I think that to believe things need a creator is more logical.
