Agbus
You continue to make this assertion while simultaneously denying it. Unless you either admit that God cannot exist without a cause, or admit that the claim things cannot exist without a cause is false, then your position is ridiculous. All you need to do is to accept that the same rules apply for matter everywhere.
Chris_Sleeps
Scientific questions/answers about the origin of the universe have a lot of metaphysical/philosophical implications. Indeed. The long slow death of religion being one of those implications.

Agbus
Thank you for what. For admitting "no one knows what caused it other than it started to expand." You have just admitted there had to be a cause.
sccsux
The infamous Graham? So, are you saying that you are not the user previously known on here as "Grahame" (the user with a strange belief in Robin Hood)? A yes or no will suffice.

Agbus
Which could occur after the contraction of its previous incarnation. The Bible says there was a previous universe. And it said it long before the word scientist was ever invented. You see there was even a first cause for the word scientist yet you cannot see it, measure it, feel it, taste it or weigh it, so according to Dawkins and co. it cannot exist but we know it does. They talk rot like all atheists and people are taken in. It just shows how gullible you all are.
MrSmith
and yet thousands of scientists around the world are doing active research to try to understand WHAT caused the big bang. Good for you if you accept that the universe "just is" and that you "just are", it isn't the case for everyone. Scientists will never accept that the universe "just is". Scientific questions/answers about the origin of the universe have a lot of metaphysical/philosophical implications. They are trying to understand the Big bang which isn't the start of the universe and to date they don’t know what caused it, all the evidence to date points to the fact the universe as always existed, but not in its current form.
