They are just as entitled to food as we are, after all if you are buried you are eaten by fungi, bacteria and all sorts of other tiny life forms and its cheaper than a funeral. So just because I have a different opinion, you think I am bonkers, what makes you think your opinion is less bonkers than mine. I would allow other life forms to take nourishment from my remains which is perfectly natural, you clearly wouldn't. Why are you so selfish?
