To save you straying off again, heres a little reminder A shocking report on the news today about honour based violence against women being on the increase in the uk. Killings, beatings, imprisonment and forced marraiges. What kind of people can treat their own flesh and blood so cruelly?. There is no honour in behaving in this way. It is indeed a misnomer but a term that originates from the nature of the crime being one that is committed to preserve the honour of the family. To me its almost like they are trying to say its not as bad as murder because it was done for a good reason. I may be wrong but its like they are trying to set it apart. Its those who try to present the image of being liberal and fair minded. Really they're closet racists and do minority groups no good at all by defending a small part of them who behave in such a inhumane way. These people are more interested in protecting their own image, they want everyone to believe they're not a racist, and nice people, so they patronise minority groups.They do as much damage as the BNP and EDL IMO. If they were really interested in helping minority groups they'd stop this nonsense and start dealing in facts. There are also a number of posters from minority groups with an agenda, who are slightly to the right of Vlad The Impaler.
