Resident Posted December 5, 2011 Share Posted December 5, 2011 My ex-gf's parents have a caravan on the New Inn site that backs onto the beach where the seals are. We used to go every year to see them as it was only a 5 min walk due to the access way from the site to the beach. simonj Posted December 5, 2011 Share Posted December 5, 2011 Went to Donna Nook about 2001, the R.A.F were doing target practice on the beach, it was amazing, not like in the films And it still is an RAF bombing range, not surprisingly called RAF Donna Nook. I was fortunate enough to do some work there earlier this year and witness some of the live firings. With bino's you could see the seals, albeit a fair distance from the target areas.
