I have a pocket watch that was given me by my father-in-law, and I've gone and dropped it. I suspect it landed on the wonder as its broken off the metal stem (a bar about 1mm in diameter). I wouldn't dream of leaving the piece with an H.Samuals or the such, they're just a slightly posher version of Argos. It's approx 60 years old. Any advice appreciated.
