FLAMENCO WORKSHOP AND SPANISH SUPPER

 

Its not your conventional Christmas dinner, but at the Shipyard we've decided to face the winter with a little December denial. We will be hosting a free flamenco workshop and demonstration with pinchos and wine available. We'll also be serving a Spanish sit down supper and, whilst you don't have to dance for your dinner, we think the combination is the perfect cure for the winter blues

Flamenco Workshop: a taster session in the basics of flamenco, introducing you to palmas (clapping), rhythm, basic footwork and body sequences, followed by a short demonstration from workshop leader Caitlin Smith.

 

Spanish Supper: Pinchos will include our speciality mint and chilli aubergine, saffron cauliflower with pine nuts, caramelized goats cheese, patatas bravas, tortilla, pimientos and cider chorizo. For mains there will be a choice of paella de carne or paella vegetariana. For pudding there'll be Seville orange tart and a fine selection of homebaked cakes.

 

We will be licenced and selling a selection of wines and beers.
