coffindodger
My mate Terry killed himself 30 years ago, he was 40. He was very intelligent, had a good job but no self belief, he had made two previous attempts, so I suppose it was third time lucky for him, he threw himself under a lorry. Ousetunes
Are you okay? I'm sorry, I know it's such a stupid question considering the topic, but if I'd have ignored your post it would have played on my mind. Just getting very tired of everything, Jen. No need to worry though; I'd never have the balls and tomorrow I will probably feel different again.

Well you already know my email address; I can lend an ear should you ever need it (or not if you don't - please don't think I'm trying to pry, I'm not). I genuinely hope you'll feel better about things soon.
janie48
At the time of writing this, if it wasn't for my kids I'd seriously consider it. Thinking of you Ousetunes. Sending good vibes.

MrsMozzy
I've just finished reading Me Before You by Jojo Moyes - it had a profound effect on me. It's a very thought-provoking novel on the subject of assisted suicide.

It's a very thought-provoking novel on the subject of assisted suicide. Li have just read this book too and as someone whose dearest friends chose to commit suicide I found the reasons the character gave were very similar to those of my friend. It is devastating for those left behind but I believe I have to respect their choice difficult as it is at times.
Mecky
If you top youself, you have lost the battle and done the work of other people for them. It's always better to stand and fight and if you want to die at least die fighting for what you believe.
adelrose
They say its not fair to those left behind.......but what if these people who committ suicide feel that others dont care?
Jeffrey Shaw
They say its not fair to those left behind.......but what if these people who committ suicide feel that others dont care? Clearly, they're wrong. Were they to see (after having died) that others do care, they'd realise too late that the suicide was pointless after all.
