You've never shopped for yarn, have you, AO? ;) Not an inexpensive option, or an easy one either if you've never attempted to knit a garment.

 

Of course, well-crafted hand-made items are far superior to the mass-produced equivalent, but don't anticipate the process to be kind to the wallet.

 

Ok, I admit, I skipped knitting class :suspect: I wouldn't have a clue and it shows, as you have rightly said :)

I spend a small fortune on my family. My parents are divorced and kindly they let me live at home rent free, so this is one of the few times a year I can treat them and show my appreciation for everything they do for me. I buy presents for 7 family members, partner, and 3 friends.
