3 Corners of China - New Chinese on Glossop Rd

Sorry I didn't like it (went on saturday)

Poor quality and greasy

There are better places

I've not been but I have noticed more and more truly authentic Szechuan places opening up and they aren't like the "Chinese" places we're used to. Lots of fatty meat, burning chillies and bits of animals that a lot of people wouldn't even contemplate eating.

Hmmm...pickled tripe with fatty ends :gag:

DerbyTup - how do you know it is going to be a "cheap budget restaurant".

Whenever I read yet another smug, know-it-all, holier than thou, comment from you on this forum I cannot believe that noone else on the forum has ever said anything to you!

Get over yourself.

Aww bless you! Don't let old DT upset you too much, I might just be doing a bit of leg pulling or sarcasm or whatever...

In it's previous guise it was a cheap pizza place which existed not to serve food prinicipally but to launder money. I recall a shooting there. I don't know that it's going to be a cheap budget restaurant, but most of them are along that stretch, so if it's any different to that then GREAT! Bring it on. Save me having to go to Manchester for a decent meal. :hihi:

Thank you CharLou, I'm glad I'm not the only one annoyed by the smuggery of Derby Tup. Unlike him, I have been for lunch and it looks and tastes pretty authentic to me. It's aimed at the thousands of Chinese students in the city. It struck me as neither pricy nor budget.

DerbyTup's role is to entertain rather than to inform. Sadly, there are a few too many on the Forum like this.
