ultimatesens
Should the young couple have asked the bankers for that huge mortgage and signed the paperwork when offered it? They didn't know the economy was about to collapse and that they would lose their jobs. The banks did.
Wildcat
The programme is two to three years out of date It was released last year and nothing in the intervening period does anything but strengthen its arguments. and as ManOfStrad say's it's only a few bankers to blame, not the whole lot. Bernie Madoff? how was he responsible? and who else? I would be interested to know who you think was responsible and how they have been held accountable... because they seem to have got off scot free. But people are being whipped up into a frenzy about all of this, yes there are issues, but we've got to move on, striking and rioting will only make things worse. Why will it make things worse? how can it be worse when we are governed by a party over 50% paid for by those responsible for the economic misery we are all paying for? Wildcat
That's pretty obvious don't you think! Not in the least, but since you haven't watched the documentary and seem to have no interest in doing so perhaps the obvious to anyone who has and who knows what the issues are will appear different to someone determinedly ignorant. Anna B
They're all stood outside the cathedral aren't they? (BTW their numbers aren't growing, is that what that silly program would have you believe?) Watch the silly programme and find out.

spooky3
Disobedience, in the eyes of any one who has read history, is man's original virtue. It is through disobedience that progress has been made, through disobedience & through rebellion. Oscar Wilde What about disobedience for disobedience's sake? Is all disobedience positive?
