MonkeyLover
How much per bean? Next time I open a can, I will count them for you, and divide the cost of the can by the number of beans inside.:hihi: It has 'bean' said that they are very high in protein, and 'can' make you trump. Love from an old has-bean!

SILLY
Slightly off topic, but does anybody know how much a 250 gm jar of Nescafe cost in June 1974 ? In 1970 it was 2/- but went up to 12p 1n 1971 everything went up in price with decimalisation I think it was to cover the cost of changing all the price tickets. Gone up a bit more though since then

You have six jars of 1974 tins of baked beans in your grans kitchen! I hope you are not going to eat them, human combustion comes to mind.
