Mecky
Hey isn't that what the Muslims did way back when, steal the land off the Jews? No, there weren't any muslims then, the Romans took the land from the Jews because they were causing trouble for the Romans and they gave it to the arabs under the name of Provincia Syria Palaestina. "In AD 135, after putting down the Bar Kochba revolt, the second major Jewish revolt against Rome, the Emperor Hadrian wanted to blot out the name of the Roman “Provincia Judaea” and so renamed it “Provincia Syria Palaestina”, the Latin version of the Greek name and the first use of the name as an administrative unit. The name “Provincia Syria Palaestina” was later shortened to Palaestina, from which the modern, anglicized “Palestine” is derived." http://www.palestinefacts.org/pf_early_palestine_name_origin.php

spooky3
Interesting, so it's Jewish land. And palestine is really judaea. Sorted. Just what I was thinking. But the Muslims did invade to take it from the Christians and Jews, as pointed out and referenced many many times before. They were amassed at the borders just before Muhammed died, then they continued with their conquest of the middle east as started by Muhammed himself. Bobgok23
Very interesting video from Israel's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Danny Ayalon, asking why there is still a Palestinian refugee problem 60 years on and shows us the madness of the United Nations. Please discuss courteously and with respect, as i don't want the thread deleting. If you want to dismiss it as lies/propaganda, thats fine, but please be prepared to back your statements up, using facts and figures to explain why/where you think it is incorrect. UN madness how true that is.
