The same would apply if a fireman rescued us from a burning building (as another example), does that mean a fireman is a hero for doing his job? Bobgok said "Many could but few do", but that's not true, people are saved all the time by CPR and various other ways (like the fireman example), they can't all be hero's or the word hero just starts to mean less.
