Bankers back David Cameron's EU veto for protecting the City A growing number of City bankers today added their support to David Cameron's EU veto, saying his actions would protect the City's world-leading status as a financial centre. Cameron cited the defence of the Square Mile as the main reason he refused to sign up with the 26 other nations in the EU treaty to save the euro last week. LINK "Would protect the City's world-leading status as a financial centre". Yep, all the dodgy dealing that's illegal everywhere else can carry on as before. Hurrah!
