Bonjon
I think when people become unemployed and start claiming the various benefits that are available, once they have reached and exceeded the amount they have payed into the system via tax, that they should start saying thankyou to the working man for providing them a roof over their head, food on the table, fags, booze, Jezza Kyle on Sky, xbox live, the financial ability to raise 6000 kids, holidays in the sun etc. etc. Is a thankyou so much to ask for or expect??? Anglersvista
I think you should thank me for the amount of tax and national insurance I've paid in over the years that enables me to get the money back for all my lovely booze, sky, holidays, cars. Oh, I have a lay in most days and if its too cold I stay in with the central heating on because I can. Who's the stupidest?
Bonjon
It must be great to have a job. Yes, I have worked around 6 weeks straight without a day off, often being on call too for weeks at a time. The next time i get a day off is somewhere in the new year, I will even be on call christmas day.

chem1st
What about the alcoholic who does a bit of thieving and pus more into the state via alcohol duty, than he takes out. Surely you should thank him?

Maybe you should thank the unemployed for being workshy thus allowing you to hold down a job that clearly no one else wants. Or is there another reason you need to do all that overtime?
